Agnes Water and it's sister township of 1770 offer a range of activities and holiday ideas from relaxing at the beach, four wheel driving through rugged coastal national parks, south to Deepwater National Park and north into Eurimbula National Park - opening up coastal wilderness for camping and fishing. Other fishing includes estuary, beach and deep sea fishing.
Agnes Water and the Town of 1770 are one of the closest points on the mainland to the outer Great Barrier Reef, Lady Musgrave Island, Lady Elliot Island and Fitzroy Reef. Many beautiful architecturally designed homes dot the cabbage palm covered hillsides all with a look reminiscent of the tropics of far north Queensland.
